Hi, I’m June, your next pet-sitter extraordinaire! I have over 35 year of experience caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes and temperaments and am more than capable of handling any pet challenge thrown my way! I have volunteered with the Petsmart Cat Coalition of Central New York, and have experience catching feral cats in my community, getting them fixed, and either releasing the older cats back into the colony or getting the younger kittens ready for adoption. I’m also the proud parent of two pit bulls, a German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd mix. I am the main caregiver and am not afraid of big (or small) dogs—so if you have a larger pup, know that I have a great deal of experience in this area! I not only provide an exceptional customer experience for my clients, it is also very clear to other people the love and passion I have for animals. I take my role as a pet sitter very seriously and strive to be an extension of my clients’ families who they can depend on in a pinch or when they need some time away. Fitness is very important to me and I make sure to prioritize exercise and play with the pups in my care! I adhere to a positive reinforcement care style and if it’s okay with you, would love to bring a treat or two upon first meeting and to reward good behavior. I understand that some dogs take a while to warm up to new people and make sure to never rush a pup into being affectionate with me. I let them smell me and get to know me in their own time…and then once everyone is comfortable we will spend our time together doing all the things they love to do!
