Juls was our answer to prayer! I could stop there but I won't, haha! Our dog has not had much socializing with other dogs and doesn't spend a lot of time with people other than our immediate family. She's never been aggressive but she does not like people to come to our home; she fearfully growls and gets very clingy. When we needed to leave for a 19 (yikes!) day trip we really needed to find someone trustworthy to take care of our dog in their home. We tried a boarding facility once and the vet bill after we picked her up doubled the cost of her boarding fees (which were more per day than many sitters on Rover) and she seemed traumatized from the experience. Juls was amazing. We got so many updates, I lost count. Photos, videos and notes to let us know how Hazel was doing. They played fetch, went on walks and cuddled through thunderstorms (our dog is afraid of those too). We didn't worry once. She also worked around our dog's finicky eating habits. I was a little concerned our dog might not warm up to her husband because she's more wary of men but they apparently became best friends. :-) When we picked our dog up she was very happy to see us BUT she also circled back excitedly to Juls and made victory laps around her living room which told me that she loved Juls and felt very happy in her home. It was icing on the cake.

Juls did a great job with Oscar. She has two extremely friendly dogs that played with Oscar throughout his stay and she kept me updated throughout his visit with photos and videos. When Oscar came home he was exhausted and happy from all the fun he had. I happily recommend Juls to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter.
