Pet care experience
I had a family dog, beagle mix, from the age of 9 and recently passed away two years ago. We learned the basics to take care of a dog. However now that I am an adult, I chose my own best friend last year and have learned much more than I did with my family dog. I have learned compassion and patience. My husband and I have taught her endless of tricks and commands, as well as her triggers and favorite snacks. Daisy, a Cavalier King Charles, has stolen my heart and I would do anything to protect her with my life. I understand what it’s like finding a perfect boarding home/pet walker, you can trust me with your beloved pet who would get endless of pets and cuddles!

Hands down the best! I’ve never met a better animal caregiver. Julissa goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of furry friends and I can honestly say that I’m a little jealous of how in love my dog is with her. I could tell that she truly loves what she does in the way that she carried herself around Daisy (my dog). She was compassionate towards her and really made me trust that she would be back safe and happier than ever. She treats animals as if they were her own children. From play time, to potty time, to dinner time, Julissa cut no corners in making sure that not only my dogs needs were met, but her wants as well. 10/10 would recommend her for all pet related activities.
Julissa goes above and beyond when you trust her with your fur buddy! She has walked my puppy Chi Chi whenever I needed her and was flexible to accommodate last minute walks whenever she was available. She had the best intentions with Chi Chi, was patient, kind, and followed all my instructions. Whenever she saw something wrong or Chi Chi had chewed something, she made sure to put it away or to clean up any mess Chi Chi might have made. Highly recommend! Respectful, honest, and kind.

My apartment perimeter is completely gated and safe however I would still leash your pup while on walks to ensure others, your pet, and my safety. Within our gates we have a small gated dog park. I am also located near a mall with a one mile circumference, and if allowed, I can take your pet for a walk around the mall or even inside the mall early in the morning!

Please! Let me know if your dog takes medication, has certain habits or a routine. I will gladly adjust my schedule to theirs since my Daisy and I are flexible. I will ask many questions such as age, spayed/neutered, their off schedule, what they eat, behaviors to look out for, and any other sort of information that would help both of us out. It would be nice to not have any last minute scheduling but if it’s urgent I am very understanding!
A typical day
I have tons of dog toys available as I spoil my own dog with many toys that she would love to share. Or you’re more than welcome to bring a toy over! If it’s raining, we can go on a less than 1 min drive and walk around a mall (early in the morning to avoid busy hours) and sniff new areas together.

Availability
I work 4-9 as a waitress, however my mornings and late nights are open for dog walking or potty breaks. I can occasionally do dog boarding in your home or mine, as long as we communicate a week or two in advance.
