I have been fortunate enough to grow up around all different kinds of animals. From small mammals and birds, to large farm animals, to cats and dogs-I have worked with them all. I pet sat and dog walked throughout high school for neighbors and friends, mostly working with cats and dogs. Prior to moving to the Berkshire's, I worked at a barn for 8 years as an assistant barn manager. I worked primarily with horses, but also cared for chickens, goats, pigs, donkeys, llamas and alpacas. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter. I helped with dog intakes and performed behavioral evaluations to help determine what kind of home would suit them best. I am comfortable with standard pet care (walking, feeding, grooming, etc.) as well as administering medications and working with animals with other unique needs.
