I LOVE dogs. I have experience as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and as a foster parent (of dogs) for the Milo Foundation. I'm currently fostering Sasha, a sweet, calm senior German Shepherd mix. She's great and I'm happy to have her, but I miss playing with puppies! (And with more energetic adult dogs.) Each dog has a unique personality, and I've yet to meet one that I don't like. I would love to get to know you and your furry friend! I truly believe that we are blessed to have dogs. They have so much to teach us. As much as I love our pets, I promise I'm not a pushover. I know how important it is for a dog to have structure and follow strictly applied rules. It keeps them safe and keeps everyone, pets and humans, happy. With Sasha, I'm learning to take care of dogs with special needs (she's deaf, wears diapers, and has very few teeth) so I'm happy to learn what specific care your dog requires and provide just that. If your dog responds only to hand signals, needs to be carried up stairs, isn't allowed in the kitchen or has other special requirements, I'm there for you! (I do have a weight limit of about fifty pounds when it comes to carrying, though. I'm only a small person.)
