Pet care experience
I grew up in an animal-loving family, with cats and dogs who were basically my brothers and sisters. Caring for animals has always been a passion for me. A large part of my childhood was spent rescuing stray animals or caring for neighbors’ pets while they were away. I now have a goldendoodle and ragdoll kitten and they are my babies!! I enjoy going on hikes, going to the dog park, or just cuddling up on the couch with my them. I would love to take care of your fur baby just how I care for my own! I’m a registered nurse and feel confident in caring for pets that may need a little extra attention as well as medication administration. I am very attentive to a dogs routine as specified by the owner. I will happily follow any special directions or requests. I am used to giving my dog tons of exercise so if you have an active pup I’m your girl. However, if your dog is a couch potato I can get down with that too. I will send multiples updates with photos throughout my visits to ensure your dog is well taken care of and you have peace of mind about your pup!

A typical day
I love being outside so taking strolls around the neighborhood, playing in a backyard or at a park, and going to the dog park are all things I love doing with pups. I enjoy taking my own dog hiking at Percy priest and Percy Warner park! If you have any spots you like to take your dog hiking let me know! I live in East Nashville with tons of good walking areas and have a fenced in backyard. To keep pups entertained inside, I can provide lick mats, kongs, or food puzzles for mental stimulation. I took a few basic dog training courses, and can provide basic training if you are currently working on that with your dog. I’m all about making every dog feel loved and appreciated so I provide tons of cuddles, pets, and words of affirmation!

Availability
I am currently in nurse-midwifery school so weekends work best for me. When I’m not in school I am often home studying or at a dog friendly coffee shop so I have plenty of one on one time for pups! Feel free to reach out to me and we can figure out a schedule that works!
