Pet care experience
I have always grown up with dogs, from age 5 I had a black lab, Murphy, followed by his son, Guinness. Currently we have a Jackapoo, Brillo, who is 16, and a Canadian Border Collie, Paddy, who is 15! My parents have regularly travelled for weeks to months at a time where I’d live in and look after the dogs. With all our dogs having lived to very old ages (all 13+), I am familiar with caring for not only young fit healthy/energetic dogs/puppies but also older pups and have experience giving any daily medication required. Training was always a massive thing with all of our dogs so happy to build upon any ongoing training with younger dogs. Now aged 30, lots of my friends have started to get dogs and I am regularly the first port of call if any dog sitting, overnight stays are required.
Reviews
Always amazing. Arlo has the best time and is so happy to stay with Juliet. She takes exceptional care of him
Arlo loves staying with Juliet and practically beats down her door when he arrives. She knows his little quirks and what he’s scared of, takes time to give him all the attention he needs and makes a big effort to take him on walks to loads of different places. Couldn’t be happier!
Our dog had a great time with Juliet and Alex. We have an anxious Cockapoo who has separation anxiety. We had never left him with anyone before and so we did some getting to know you sessions before our holiday. Buddy got on great with them and Juliet was great at keeping us updated with pics.
Arlo had a brilliant time staying with Juliet. She takes amazing care of him and he is so happy when he goes there

I live in a ground floor flat with secure, completely walled rear garden. I live moments from the water of leith, cycle path and Inverleith Park - so there is plenty of options to choose from for walks/runs, depending on what your pup is used to or prefers! Your dog would have free access within the home - no pets or children - however I will of course follow the same house rules as owner if preferred e.g not allowed in bedroom or on sofas.

Information Juliet L. would like to know about your pet
Happy to be given as many instructions as required to ensure I cater to your dogs needs like they were in their own home - routine is important! Very important that I know any quirky personality traits, habits of your dog so I know nothing is out of the ordinary while in my care. Also, I would like to know a bit of information about their nature with other dogs, in a house environment as well as in a park/public setting - I don’t have pets, nor will I sit/walk/board more than one dog at a time - but useful to know on off chance a friend pops round with their dog and so I can be mindful when out on walks/runs.
A typical day
I love interacting with dogs and understanding their personalities so I can cater to their needs -I have an abundance of beautiful places within walking distance of my home for dogs to either gently stretch their legs or get a full on run around depending on their needs. Inverleith park, water of leith and the cycle path are just a few to mention. While at home, there will be time to hang out and relax, with regular loo breaks available in rear garden. Not to mention many a cuddle on offer, should your furry friend wish.

Availability
I currently work within the voluntary sector and have flexi time. Looking to finally take advantage of this slightly more by trying to enjoy more time outside by supporting others with their doggie care needs - I not only get to keep my steps up, I get to make another furry friend, all while helping someone else! On days where I am working, I work from home and therefore would enjoy the company of a furry friend but again due to flexi work, would have plenty opportunity to ensure regular walks during the day and evenings.
