Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was little. I love their different personalities and their love of life. I have also taken care of or owned just about every kind of pet you can think of. I have pretty open availability, depending on the day/time and needs of your pet. I have been called the "dog whisperer" by friends because dogs tend to gravitate to me. I adopted a rescue dog several years ago with many emotional and behavioral issues and re-trained her. She was definitely my buddy. She died earlier this year at the age of 14. Dogs are members of the family as far as I am concerned. They are amazing companions and deserve the best care. Trusting someone to care for your dog is scary, hopefully I can help easy those fears!

My dog Echo was completely welcome at Julie's place. She has 2 big puppies which Echo had a blast playing with her over night stay . Julie and Eric are warm loving animal lovers. I recommend her and we will defiantly take Echo back when we are in need of a dog sitter!
Julie was amazing! My wife and I were taking a day trip to Estes Park for a wedding and we dropped our puppy Abbey off with Julie. She provided excellent care for my puppy. Abbey had another puppy friend to play with, a pool to swim in and a loving home to nap in. Julie sent us pictures of our puppy to keep our anxiety low and she was understanding when we arrived a tad late for pickup. Julie was incredibly warm and caring. Our interactions with her and her husband left us feeling very calm and confident in her abilities. This was my first Rover experience and it’s going to be hard to top!

A typical day
We have a large fenced yard and we are near a large open space. I like taking dogs for rides, on hikes (if they are able) and just play around. You can be sure that your dog will get spoiled! Belly rubs, ear scratches--the works!
