Pet care experience
I have been fostering and rescuing dogs for over 20 years, and began officially dogsitting in 2014. I have two dogs of my own, and I have 3 human children too. :) All of them love when other dogs come to stay with us. I do also have two cats, who tend to stay upstairs where the dogs don’t go, but I wouldn’t want to risk them coming downstairs to a dog who is aggressive with cats. I treat every dog like it’s one of my own, and have never met a dog I didn’t love! We have a huge fenced backyard for them to run and play in. It’s truly a doggie oasis! I have a lot of experience with special needs dogs through my fostering, and I absolutely adore seniors. We can also watch guinea pigs, hamsters, bunnies and other small animals in their cages. We have a separate area on a separate floor in our house so they are always safe from dogs.

Today was Jax's first doggy day care date with Julie. I'm so glad we found her! She is very friendly and was SO wonderful with him. She is a real animal lover and has two great pups of her own, and a backyard which is truly a doggy paradise! I'm always a little nervous leaving Jax but I felt totally at ease and knew he would have a great day (which he did - he is a happy and tired pup tonight!). Julie sent me pics and I was confident he was in good hands... we've already booked an upcoming overnight with her and I'm sure Jax looks forward to spending time at her house again - highly recommended!
Julie is a perfect dog Mom that was extremely patience with my old grumpy Chihuahua has disability, and my Sophia(GSP mixed) enjoyed the big back yard playing with her lovely dogs all day and came home calm and happy,Julie send me photos update almost every day, knowing my babies were having fun as much as I was on vacation is the best feeling of all.

My yard is fully fenced, and double fenced in areas, and my two dogs will happily keep your dog entertained. I let the dogs on my furniture, bc my dogs are allowed in the furniture, and all dogs are treated just like my family. I can also crate your dog, if needed.

I would like to know any bad habits or issues your dog might have so I can be aware! Does your dog counter surf? Dig? Bark a ton? Pee on doormats? Eat poop? Jump fences? Things like that, I would appreciate a heads up just so I’m prepared.
A typical day
The dogs go in and out freely through the doggie door, play in the yard or house until they’re wiped out, and nap all over the house. One of my dogs has enough energy that she will play with any high energy dog all day long!

Availability
I work four hours a day, about 6 minutes from home, so the dogs are never left home alone for more than four hours, but I will let you know if I have any event where I will be out of the house for a longer period of time.
