Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs & many other animals. I have over 35 years experience caring for numerous animal species as an adult. I was a dog parent for 25 years. I currently do not have animals of my own at home which has allowed me to work as a professional live-on-site rescued animal caretaker for the last 6 years that’s provided me with extensive experience from orphaned babies to seniors, hospice & those with special medical &/or emotional needs. My primary background is with canine & equine but I also have several years caring for cats, birds & livestock (including rescued poultry, & waterfowl) at a professional level.

We are so glad Julie was available to watch our miniature dachshund! After our meet and greet the weekend prior we felt she was a perfect fit and that certainly held true! She is an animal advocate from the get go, so sitting with our pet was second nature for her. I received pictures and videos and know that our instructions were followed. I enjoy giving animals lots of attention, as much as they would like! They will be sure to receive generous playtime inside and/or out with your approved toys/enrichment.

Availability
I have plenty of time to take care of your pet(s)! I am available on weekdays, & weekends, including overnight house stays (and available for most holidays too). I’m happy to schedule an online Meet & Greet (via FaceTime or similar). Please note my fees for an overnight house stay includes morning, midday & evening attention, walking & feeding. I prefer to keep the animals as close to their regular schedule & daily routine as much as possible!
