Hi! I'm a creative and also exceptionally skilled and experienced in caring for animals and their humans. We've got the R's going on here for your beloved. Recreation, rehab, relaxation, rest, and respite care with Ruby! Ruby is my 5 year old foster dog and we're ready for a boarder who needs a place to stay overnight to hang out, have some fun, get into shape, chill, sleep, or heal. Ruby came to me in June 2019 with a little extra 20 lbs and a super disposition who loves to ruff house with puppies all the way to gentle nosing with elder dogs. (Cats, stay tuned...) It's year end and she's a lean, speeding power bullet now after a multi-week program of good nutrition, swimming, hiking, running, walking, playing, and performing search and rescue drills at Stevens Pass and home. Prior to Ruby, I raised two black lab mixes from local shelters. Lovey from 8 weeks old and her best buddy Kuma joining us as a shared relationship and responsibility at 8 years old. They both lived in our home all their lives from these ages on until the ripe age of 16-1/2 years old when they passed, one right after the other. I poured my heart and soul into Lovey and Kuma at each stage of their lives, providing whatever they needed for optimal health and happiness. I will do the same for your beloved dog. I know the value of experienced, trusted help when I needed it. I'm open to special requests to tailor the stay to meet your dog's wants and needs that you can depend on, so be sure to let me know so I can create a well-suited, memorable and fabulous stay! In addition to dog sitting, I offer both dog and cat visits and dog and cat walking. I can also attend to and feel comfortable with other types of small animals including birds. As an animal lover and keeper for many years, I've had many occasions to help out my family, friends, and neighbors. No matter the weather. Rain, cold, snow, heat, and sun... We live in Washington! I'm mindful of safety and by nature my intuitive feeler personality type lends me to know without complete facts if something needs attention. I'm a shepherd particularly guided to those ones who have wandered off, feel alone or abandoned and bring them back to the fold. I care that each beloved animal feels special, included, and needed. I'm a good listener and sounding board for any cares and concerns of both the beloved animal and you. I work from home and set my own outside appointments, giving me flexibility and creative options. If your beloved animal is an only child or needs a little extra TLC while you get some things done around the house or need a restful break, Ruby and I are here for company and companionship. Your beloved may have special needs, you want some rehab for your beloved, or you need help with respite care after surgery or illness. Let's see what we can do. I may be able to take your dog or cat, for example, to a necessary appointment while you're at work, on vacation, etc. I enjoy animals in my life and what a better way to have more lovely engagement than to be here to help you and your beloveds.
