Pet care experience
I have had dogs for the last 16 years so have had lots of experience in caring for my little friends. I also have experience looking after friends dogs for extended periods of time to cover holidays. This is something that I find very easy to do as I have always loved having dogs around me. I currently have a three year old Labrador retriever called Gus. He’s a real character but so very loving.

Julie was wonderful with Hector our 5 year old Cockapoo. We had a meet and greet prior to the boarding date to make sure our dog and hers got on well. Julie made Hector feel comfortable and at home, and we knew instantly we did not need to worry about leaving him. Julie is an excellent communicator and we received regular updates, pictures and videos during his week long stay. Hector had a great time with lots of long walks and play times with Gus, followed by relaxing times on the sofa in front of the fire. I would highly recommend Julie as a competent and reliable dog sitter, and will definitely rebook with her again.
Julie looked after my Irish Terrier Seamus for 4 weeks while we were on holiday in New Zealand. Julie’s care was exceptional. She sent me regular updates and photos so I felt totally confident that Seamus was in such good hands, enabling me to relax and enjoy my holiday. Seamus absolutely adored her!
Julie is a lovely person! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to look after your pet. She’s reliable and caring and attentive to any specific needs. Julie lives in a lovely part of the world, perfect for dog walks away from main roads. You won’t regret asking Julie to care for your pet!

I have a large fenced garden for your dog to play and explore. I also have a field that the dogs can really run, I like to throw ball for mine there - he’d do this all day if I let him! I also have a large crate which I did use for my Labrador but he no longer needs this so I can use this if needed for our guests. My house has more dog beds than human so plenty of safe spaces to go to if needed.

I have recently retired so I am home all day every day so would be able to adapt daily or weekly routines at necessary. I currently walk my dog at least 3 times a day - he needs lots of exercise. I live away from any main roads and also I am very lucky to have lots of amazing walks on my doorstep.
