We are new to Spokane, but not new to caring for dogs. We have had 1-3 dogs as pets in our house for over 20 years. We have fostered dogs for 2 different rescues. We have been on Rover since Dec. 2019. Over the years we have loved dogs of all sizes, ages, and with many different personalities. Currently we don't have any dogs in our household and our children are away at college. Ryan works from home. I have been a stay at home mom for over 20 years, with my children gone to college, I have lots of love and attention to give. We only take one dog family at a time to make sure your dogs get our full attention. Occasionally dogs do overlap due to pick up/drop off times, but we try to make that as short as possible. We do Rover because we love dogs and want to make dog owners feel at ease when they have to leave their dog somewhere. Our house is approximately 3000 sq. ft. and the dogs are allowed to go everywhere. We do have a lot of stairs, 3 stories in our house. We have a large deck and a fenced backyard. Our yard backs up to a natural area. We enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them. When our kids are home from college, they love having a dog to play with also. We do require immunization records even though we only take one dog family at a time. We also prefer to do an in person meet and greet to make sure that you and your dog feel comfortable with us and our home. Our daily boarding rates are for 24 hours of care. If the end time is scheduled 2-8 hours later than the start time on the first day, you will be charged an additional 50% of your daily rate. (Example: If your nightly rate is $40, your extended care rate for an additional 2-8 hours is $20.) If the end time is scheduled 8+ hours later than the start time on the first day, you will be charged the full price of an extra day. (Example: If your nightly rate is $40, your extended care rate for an additional 8+ hours is $40.) Ryan works from home and Julie is a homemaker, so we are home with the dogs almost all the time and rarely would your dog be left unattended. We have a fully fenced yard. No other pets in the household or any small children. Our house is three levels with lots of stairs and dogs are allowed to go on any level of the house. Also, we send daily email updates with pictures of the dogs so you can stay connected to them while you are away.
