Hi there! I’m a huge animal lover and I have done just about everything in the veterinary hospital besides from being the doctor! I worked at Buck Road Animal Hospital and then Family Pet Clinic with the pets as the kennel supervisor, a veterinary staff, and treatment tech, then I moved on to becoming the Manager of the Richboro Ritz Pet Resort. Before my employment with the hospitals I volunteered at the Voorhees Animal Orphanage. I've been caring for my own pets (four adorable cavalier king charles spaniels!) and for other people's pets since I was a child. I am comfortable caring for cats and dogs of any breed or age. I offer feeding, walking/exercising, waste clean up, medication administration, bathing, and more. I also have an extensive knowledge in animal psychology (I received my Bachelor's degree from West Chester University), and I have learned various training methods by partaking in canine training courses taught by certified technicians. I am also certified in Shelter Medicine and am Fear Free certified. I am a member of AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) and have earned various other certifications that has allowed to be a better vet tech and a better pet parent to my own 4 cavaliers! Let me begin by saying that my dogs are my children and I treat them as such! I am very critical of who I allow to care for them. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend Julie. She treats my dogs as if they were her own. She is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. My dogs adore her and that means everything to me. It is apparent from the moment you see her interact with your dog that it is not just a business to her, it is her love. In addition, her knowledge regarding all aspects of canine care is extensive and helpful. The peace of mind in knowing that my dogs are well cared for is priceless.
Julie has been an absolute blessing! Cierra (my dog) loves Julie and does a happy dance upon her arrival. She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and will update me when I’m out of town which is always comforting. I don’t know what we would do without her!
Animal lover all her life. Grew up with small and large dogs, several cats and a bunny. Worked for years in veterinary office. Volunteered for shelters to exercise dogs or just cuddle cats. Cared for cats over a period of several months for clients who were out of the country on business. Responsible, compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. She will provide tender loving care for your pet!
I am a good friend and precious co-worker of Julie's. I have never met a single soul as caring and loving to animals as her! She goes the extra mile in making sure every dog and cat was comfortable and happy while boarding with us. She is also the sweetest woman I have ever met (and that's an understatement).
