47 year old dog lover with large fenced in back yard, in Waterford, MI. I currently own a 11 year old female Lab/Pit mix (no worries, she loves people, kids & is deathly afraid of my bunny for some reason, perfectly harmless unless you are a squirrel) & a 3 yr. old male Lab/Shepard mix (both rescue dogs, spayed/ neutered with all shots up to date) they are friendly & get along well with other dogs. I also have a rabbit, fish & bird. I'd have a cat if I weren't allergic. I also have a 18 year old daughter living in the 1,245 Sq ft ranch, so someone is always home to keep an eye on the fur family. I work 9-5pm less then 1.5 miles from my home, so I normally come home at lunch if my daughter is not home during the day so my pup don't get lonely...Katie goes to work with me daily, as she gets separation anxiety. My clients love her & she looks forward to the treats they bring her, so it works out well. I like all friendly dogs, but the health of my dogs/animals & the rest of my family come first, so I would have to be sure all dogs I sit for are up to date on shots, flee free & non aggressive with other animals & kids. I've owned dogs my entire life. I do well with training, so if you do have a puppy, you can be assured I can help with housebreaking & other commands you are trying to teach. Positive, consistent reinforcement is always the best way to train, it's never failed me yet .
