I am a dog lover (obviously) and have 3 years of experience with dogs of all sizes through volunteering with a local shelter. We also used to have a family dog when I was younger. I'm passionate about having patience with all dogs and not pushing them until they are comfortable with me regardless of size or temperament. I have experience walking dogs from 20lbs to 100+lbs of all ages with varying levels of pullers through my time volunteering and actually prefer larger breeds! I've also administered oral meds on many occasions, and although not as experienced with injected medications, have done it a few times. I work full time, but have early hours so can be available as early as 3pm. Available anytime on weekends with notice.

I booked Julie to stay at my house with my dogs overnight for multiple nights. On the second night of the stay Julie abandoned my dogs over night for 12 hours. When I checked the home Nest cameras at 5 am I saw that she hasn't returned since 7 pm I called her - I could clearly hear that I woke her up as she was confused and disoriented. I asked where she was and she after stuttering for a minute, she made up a fake emergency. I contacted Rover and booked an emergency sitter to take over and immediately cancelled Julie as she neglected and abandoned my dogs which was a clear breach of the contract. Julie had to the audacity to charge me a "late cancellation fee" because I didn't give her enough of a warning prior to cancelling her stay despite her breaching our contract and abandoning my dogs overnight. I would not recommend ANYONE book with Julie; she is untrustworthy, unreliable, and a liar.
Just excellent, Julia stayed at our place for week and cared for our two cats. She was so patient with our wild kitty and handled them with confidence. I would absolutely recommend her!

Julie was absolutely wonderful with our 4 month old puppy who can be a bit of a handful! She went above and beyond what we expected by taking her on long walks to new places and even training her to walk nicely on her leash! She kept me up to date on how our puppy was doing every day, and sent me pictures and videos. She also left me great detailed notes about the training she was doing with her so that we could keep it up when we got back. Before we left, she came to meet Lilly twice and she was easy to get a hold of, and very quick to respond to messages. She left our home clean, and exactly as we left it. I would highly recommend Julie and will certainly be requesting to use her again in the future.

I'd like to know as many things as possible regarding your dog's habits such as pulling, dog- or human-reactivity, favourite activity, whether he/she can go off leash, etc. so that I can be prepared and everyone is happy!
A typical day
Depends on what you prefer, but can be as simple as a walk around the block to potentially a trip to the dog park for longer sits. If it is a sitting situation as opposed to just walking, there will be lots of play inside the house as well, again, depending on your preference. Tug-of-war, fetch, etc. are all fair game!
