Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Julie, and I am so excited for the chance to meet you and your pet. I have always wanted to be a pet sitter, but never had the time with my full-time job. I am now going through a career change, and am so excited about the opportunity to get to do something I truly love. I have experience as a pet owner, foster dog mom, and animal caretaker. I have over five years' experience taking care of both dogs and cats, and have pet sit for multiple friends and family members over the years. Recently, I have also had experience caring for a blind and deaf dog with special needs. I enjoy taking care of pets at every stage of their life, and will ensure they have a safe, fun time with me! In addition to my experience as a pet owner, I also volunteer with two rescue organizations in Atlanta: Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and the Atlanta Humane Society. Any of my friends or family members will tell you how much I love caring for all animals. I cannot wait to meet your pet(s), and take the very best care of them.

Julie watched our somewhat anxious dog for 5 days and she was great! She sent just enough texts/picture updates to make us feel comfortable. Julie stayed at our place and left it looking great- I would highly recommend her!
Julie is an AMAZING dog sitter! I have seen her with her own dog Bowie and have left my dog, Harrison with her to watch before. She took great care of him. She made sure he was fed, walked, got play time and got all the snuggles while I was away. Julie kept me updated with daily messages/photos about my little guy and helped ease my anxiety of leaving my best fur friend. Julie's dog Bowie is equally amazing and got along great with my guy! I HIGHLY recommend Julie for all of your Rover needs!!
Julie and I met through our dogs - and ever since then, her love for dogs has been abundantly clear. In addition to her own rescue dog, she volunteers with the Humane Society, and more recently, has fostered a senior dog with special needs. She’s played with and watched my dog on many occasions, and has shown the same love to my little pup as she does her own dog. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have my dog in her care.
Julie is great! She watched our miniature dachshund while we went to a wedding, and the experience was perfect. Our dog is a little skiddish toward strangers, but she made her feel right at home. She responded timely to our texts and provided plenty of updates on how our pup was doing. Highly recommend!

We have a fenced in yard with lots of grass to play on, multiple trails within walking distance, and a neighborhood dog park (if pet parents are comfortable with visits there) two blocks from our house. I enjoy both walking and running with my dog.
