Thank you for confirming that you live within my service area prior to contacting me. I have more than fifteen years of experience caring for animals, and have been providing professional pet care since 2016. I'm invested in the well-being of your pets. I love animals. My family has included both cats and dogs over the years. I am responsible, dependable, and capable of providing safe care for your pets. I will treat your pets with the love and respect that I have shown my own sweet furry family members. Not only will you have the reassurance that your pets are in good hands, but you will also receive updates immediately after every visit with details and pictures! I am interested in meeting your pets before booking service because I want both you and your pets to feel comfortable with me; I want you to know that when you're away, they are receiving excellent care. I can meet you and your pets in your home prior to our first appointment so we can get acquainted and go over the care your pets need. I have experience with senior animals, animals with special diets, and animals that require medication. Meet-and-greets typically take between thirty minutes to an hour. When we meet, I will go over my ABC checklist with you: Access and Accessories, Behavior, and Communication. I'll also give you a brief orientation on using the app and getting pet report cards and more.

Julie is AMAZING! Seriously, the best sitter we've ever had by a landslide. My two rescue pups are the loves of my life, but they can be a handful. Julie understands them and loves them like her own, and I feel so secure leaving them in her care. She is thorough, prompt, thoughtful, and takes the best pictures. She has deftly handled behavior hiccups, sickness, my clingy frenchie and my drama queen corgi who howls at the wind. I don't know what we'd do without her <3

During meet-and-greets, I go through my ABCs: Access & Accessories, Behavior, and Communication. We'll go over how I'll access your pet during my visit with them once we've booked, and where their leash/harness/litter box, etc. will be. Along with your pet's needs, I'll also want to know of any behavior I should watch for, and if there's any training I should reinforce while I'm with your pet. (I'm absolutely comfortable discussing details about your pet's bathroom behavior, if you want or need that information.) If you've never used a professional pet care provider, I'll provide an orientation to the service and the app. If it isn't already completed, I can guide you through filling out your pet's care profile. For every visit, I use pet report cards to share information with you about my visit with your pet, including a written summary, pictures, and a map of any walks we take. It gets sent right to the app on your phone immediately after the conclusion of my visit. Meet and Greets typically take between thirty minutes to an hour and take place in your home. Please feel free to use that time to ask any questions as well!

Availability
Offering professional pet care services is not a side hustle for me; it is my passion and my career. It is a way for me to fulfill a need in my community by doing something I love. I am available for drop-in visits and walks every weekday between 9a and 4p. Overnight care: My availability for overnight care is updated in my availability calendar. My personal approach to overnight care is structured so I can accommodate all my clients throughout the day. I arrive between 6p-9p and stay overnight until sometime between 6a-9a, and then also come back midday during my rounds to walk or visit with your pet, so they don't go any longer than 8 hours at most between potty breaks.
