Pet care experience
I have been dog walking & dog /house sitting for 20+ years. It all started dog/house sitting with my dog niece & nephew Madison & Shade, and continued with my own Stargazer Lily and her littermate/dog niece (Tia) and my 2nd. dog niece Sadie. Now our own dog family has grown to 3 labs- Kate- 5 yr. old Choc. Lab, Ace- 3 yr. old. Yellow Lab, & Betty- 2 1/2 yr old Black Lab. and a dog niece & nephew Wally & Millie. I have also cared for my clients (I was a residential construction project manager previously) & friends pets in their own homes and mine. I consider Dogs/Pets as family members and treat them so. Their quality of life is as important as mine or yours. I take pet care seriously, and have always provided the best for my own pets and others. I understand about dog nutrition and the need for proper exercise to ensure their mental and physical health. I bring an added bonus to Dog/ House sitting- due to my previous business (construction project management) I have extensive knowledge of homes and their systems, and with this knowledge I can spot a potential problem and or deal with one if one arises. I will care for your home as I would my own. A dog walk/visit with me will not be just the same walk around the block or yard, I will make sure that I "mix it up" so that your pup's walk is interesting for them.

Safety, trust & environment
At your home, I will follow your care methods and rules for your pups. If your yard is fenced and the dogs are allowed out to spend time in the yard unattended- I'll do so if I feel comfortable with that. I believe dogs should always be leashed on a walk, and even so if your yard is not fenced or they don't have an electric fence.
Information Julie N. would like to know about your pet
I always ask my clients to write down information on their dogs age, physical or health issues/limitations. Personality traits are helpful to know about (i.e.-counter surfers, jumpers, or barkers). The more information I have about a dog the better I can care for the dog & have an enjoyable visit.
A typical day
Walks are important for your pups and me! A daily walk in the neighborhood will occur daily, if there is a park or nature preserve close by that allows for leashed dogs, then a visit there will happen when the weather is good on a weekend day. I will typically play interactively with your pups if they are able to do so and like interactive play.

Availability
I work remotely- so when pet sitting I will be in your home with your pets most of the day/each day. This provides your pups with daily companionship when they most need it.
