Pet care experience
I have been rescuing cats and dogs my whole life. I grew up in the country with strays always wondering in so it's no wonder I ended up back out here in the country with my husband and son. We are an active family that loves to spend our evening cuddling with each other and our furry pets. We currently have 1, 15 year old peek-a-poo dog (f) who is basically blind and deaf, and 4 cats. I've had our senior pup since she was ready to leave mama. We got our first family cat 4 years ago (4 years old, f), she is the queen of the nest. Then we purchased a new kitty for our son's 7th birthday (~2 years old, f), she is the epitome of "curiosity killed the cat". Then we acquired 2 stray males cats fall 2022, these brothers are a couple of cuddly flop-doodles. They have all been accepting of the new comers and so I'm an 1000% positive they will accept your furry friends into our home too. I do not work but I do have regular doctor appointments that I attend. Our yard is not fenced but we do have leashes at both the front and back doors. We also have a screened in patio if they like to just lay out and enjoy the sun and smells. Accommodations can be made to meet your needs! We can't wait to make you and you're furry friend(s) a part of our furry family.
Reviews
Julie took great care of our senior dog with special needs. She was very responsive to messages and my kids loved seeing pictures while we were gone. Thanks so much!
Julie watched our two boys and we so appreciate it. She sent pictures, which the kids loved, and updates about how they were doing. We already have her booked for another trip coming soon!
Very helpful and kind!
Julie was great! Goose felt right at home. She sent pics to let us know he was doing well.

Information Julie N. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any behavioral concerns such as anxiety for any reason, i.e. storms, kids, etc. Also if they need any extra assistance so that I can accommodate before.
A typical day
A typical day for the animals around here is bathroom first! Then breakfast. After that the humans like to get in some snuggles with our furry friends. Then the furries usually need another bathroom break, and its time to get ready for the day. I am home all day, most days. I may be gone a few hours here and there throughout the week for doctors appointments or errands. Although, if I'm running errends and it's a nice day the pups are welcome to ride along! They always love it. Also, my son loves going to the many nearby parks and down to the MCT trail (1/2 mile from our house). Those are always great times to get in playing and exercise for our furry friends too.
