Pet care experience
I love dogs and have three of my own. I would love to take your active pup out for a run (or walk)! I grew up always having family pets and consider myself very intuitive with dogs of all personalities. I have 15+ years experience caring for family pets and did the occasional pet/house sitting in college. I currently take my Austrailian Shepherd for runs 5 days a week and am teaching her to obey verbal commands while on the leash. I believe that at the end of the day a tired puppy is a happy puppy! I would also be willing to do up to two drop-in's a day at your home. I can feed and water your dog, bring in the mail, water indoor plants and clean up any puppy messes. While I'm there I would stay for about a half hour to play with and love your fur-baby.

I don't have breed preferences. I would like to meet with the owner and dog before services to make sure everyone gets along! I would also like to know the dog's history: is he/she already active and accustomed to running or walking for 30 minutes a day or do we need to work up to running? Does he/she do well with other dogs? Any problems with strangers or children? For walking and running services a body harness for the dog is preferred as a safety precaution.
A typical day
My main focus would be running. I prefer the local trails: Boorman, Cargill, Mobberly. But I am happy to take them in neighborhoods if that is preferred. We may occasionally make it to the off leash dog park, if the dog is adjusted to playing with others.
