Pet care experience
I have cared for people's pets in their homes for over 15 years and work from home so your pet will have company and care all day and night long. I love spending my time getting to know my animal clients, their likes, dislikes, routines and quirks that make them who they are - this goes for the humans too ;). I also enjoy taking photos of animals, so we will be in communication, including pet portraits, as often or as little as you'd like. I moved here from Hawaii about a year ago and am looking forward to connecting with you and your animals. I can tell you that I have made life long connections with my clients and even fly back to pet sit when they need me. It's important to build that bond of trust because you are asking me to come into your home and take care of members of your family. I understand that and am looking forward to it!

Julie is awesome! We think our little girl Penny would rather live with Julie full time. Don’t get me wrong. We are super good to Penny. I have a friend that told me that when she dies she wants to come back as my dog. LOL. But honestly, Penny came home very happy and healthy after 10 days. Julie sent us lots of fun pictures that made the whole experience of leaving Penny so much easier. We are planning another small get away and plan on leaving Penny with again. Thanks a bunch Julie for making life easier for all of us.

I like to know what their regular routine is, when they get fed, medications, when they need exercise, what their likes and dislikes are, and if I need to pay specific attention to something like and old injury or a tender spot. I also like to know how they are with other dogs and if you have any special training techniques you would like me to employ.
A typical day
It depends on what the dog enjoys doing! I love taking my dog clients on walks and runs. I am also happy playing in the yard, dog park or cuddling on the floor or couch. I am flexible and like to work with you to determine what your pet needs.
