Pet care experience
My experience is extensive for over 35 years. First learning premier dog handling skills through Canine Companions for Independence by raising & training puppies to become Service Dogs for the disabled. I advanced my knowledge volunteering for local Rescues in Santa Rosa by Fostering 90 + dogs over 7 years, many with significant medical and behavioral issues. Our personal pack has 3 XL dogs who hold my heart! My hope is to add your beloved dog into my routine.

This was our first visit with Julie and she has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She took time at our meet to show Cliff (pup!) and I around her house, both inside and out, and answered all my questions about what a day would be like there, meal time, familiarizing Cliff with her pets etc. Julie has many years of experience working with and fostering dogs which also gave me comfort knowing our dog was in such capable hand. We left Cliff all day for his first visit and we had excellent communication throughout the day, complete with photos and thoughtful updates on how he was doing. Cliff did great in Julie's care and we will definitely be asking her for more dates in the future. Thanks again Julie, you're a gem!
Julie was amazing with our dog! She is typically a bit anxious but she immediately loved Julie and was perfectly comfortable in her home. She introduced her dogs one by one and Luna got to play all day. She sent us pictures and kept us updated while watching her. Your dog will be in safe hands with her, I could not recommend her enough.
It was great to find someone that loves and has familiarity with large breed dogs. My pup had so much fun playing with her other big dogs that were also the same age and got lots of exercise. Julie was attentive to his digestive sensitivities and made some suggestions based on her own experience with that in her dogs. She allowed him to make himself at home there and sent lots of pictures and videos.
I really appreciate Julie’s flexibility. Long work days occasionally pop up and I feel relieved that I finally found someone to deal with my unpredictable but sweet pup when I can’t be at home to exercise him.

My home environment is completely set up for Dogs and Cats. A fully engaging room for Cats to play, sleep and lounge. For Dogs: Crates, beds, comfy places and an acre of grass to run and play. I do Pet Sitting during the day and would love to take your dog on a walk near your home as well. Pet Sitting charges are for a 7 hour day (or less). Hours over 7 will be an additional charge will be collected in cash at pick up.

I'm pretty confident in anything a dog can throw at me. Just ask. Medications, behaviors, special needs. If I can do it, I will. They will be safe with me. CATS RULE TOO!
A typical day
We play outdoors in our enormous yard. Or we walk on a nearby Canal Road for extra sniffing stimulus. Of course, the requisite variety of toys are available. I particularly enjoying playing with a Flirt Pole if the dog enjoys chasing it.
