We’re your neighborhood dog camp!

Pet care experience

We are eager to welcome your pup(s) to our home! I have a cozy bungalow with a huge fenced backyard--it’s doggo camp! And two happy hounds who love guests! When you board with us, there are lots of walks and opportunities for zoomies and sniffaris...plus so much napping. I’ve had dogs my entire adult life, and now foster puppies and volunteer at the animal shelter. I am trained in dog, cat, and small animal handling, as well as assistance in the surgery suite. I also have guinea pigs, chinchillas, a hamster, and fish at home. I can provide medical care, including injections and subQ.

Julie is the best! We are repeat customers and love how well she takes care of our fussy Buddy! We always get lots of updates and she is flexible and kind. Her laid-back attitude and welcoming space with a big yard for playing make us know that we have found a true gem in her services. Thanks, Julie!

Julie was absolutely wonderful with our high energy, but shy 1 year old pup. He had a fabulous extended stay (5 days) and by the end was sad to leave Julie and her pups behind. Julie was very communicative and made us feel very comfortable leaving Finn. We will definitely book her again.

We’ve booked multiple times with Julie and she is wonderful. We know our dog is in great care, and she genuinely cares about the animals.

Safety, trust & environment

My dogs get two walks a day, with a bonus hike on weekends. We also do two meals a day; I separate our visiting dogs during meals so nobody is thieving or resource guarding. The back door is usually open for free access to the yard when I am home. I can easily set up a crate if that’s your pup’s preference, and they are welcome to make themselves at home on the various floor mats, furniture, and my bed.

A typical day

We’ll go for walks twice a day, and hikes on weekends (or we can lay around the house too). My dogs love to wrestle and chase and we have lots of toys for chewing, squeaking, and tugging. Plus snuffle mats, kongs, and other puzzle toys to keep those active dog brains busy!

My dogs are great hosts! I do have a day job which is fortunately pretty flexible. I telework once or twice a week, and we spend our weekends hanging around the house and getting out for hikes on trails around the area.
