I'm a professional dog trainer with lifelong dog experience. My days are spent working with dogs of varying breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments, so I am more than equipped to work through any challenges that may arise. Every dog is different- you tell me what your dog needs and enjoys, and I'll provide it for them. I'm very aware of the worries that can accompany allowing someone else to care for your beloved pet. There are very few people to whom I entrust my own dog, and I would be honored to be permitted to fulfill that role for you and your family. I will sincerely love your dog and treat them like they're my own, with absolutely no exceptions.

I will always discuss safety with you before the first walk or visit with your dog, and will check in regularly at repeat visits, if any. This will include preferred equipment for walking, any concerns of reactivity to other dogs or people we may encounter, and weather. Any potential abnormalities that I observe while with your dog will be reported to you immediately.

I'll review your dog's physical condition first- what is considered a good walking pace for them, and do they have any medical concerns I need to watch out for. We'll go over which equipment you prefer I use (leash, collar, harness, gentle leader, etc) and I'll address any safety concerns I may have. I'll also ask some basic behavioral questions. My default is to not allow whichever client I'm with to greet other dogs while we're out, but I'll still want to know your dog's level of comfort with other dogs and people.
A typical day
We can play in your yard, walk around your neighborhood, or go for walks/hikes at local parks within a close proximity of your home- I'll defer to your preference and will not take your dog out of your neighborhood without express permission. My car is equipped with a top of the line travel kennel to keep your dog safe if we do drive to a separate location.

Availability
My schedule fluctuates daily and weekly, so I prefer for walks and visits to be scheduled in advance. That said, I'm always happy to discuss last-minute appointments and will accommodate whenever possible.
