Pet care experience
Jay and I are a brother-sister pet care team - We grew up with animals, and I worked my way through college as a vet assistant at a local animal hospital. I can't imagine life without animals! We currently have 4 dogs and 3 cats, and I am an avid equestrian. As a pet care team, one or both of us will always be available to meet your pet's needs - Jay has a 4x4 truck, so sketchy weather doesn't slow us down! Please be assured that your pet will be in experienced hands. We have cared for all kinds of pets - birds, fish, farm animals, reptiles (bearded dragons, turtles, lizards, etc.) as well as dogs and cats. We have a soft spot for older and/or special needs pets. We can administer oral, injectable, and transdermal medications.

We love Julie and Jay! They have been coming to see Essie while we are on our work trips for the past year, and they truly are the best. Essie loves their visits!
Great job as always!
Julie and Jay took amazing care of our Daisy while we traveled for spring break! They checked in several times a day with updates and lots of photos. Daisy is a sweet and sensitive chihuahua and doesn’t usually adjust well to new people, but she opened right up to Julie and Jay. I would highly recommend them and I plan to contact them for future pet sitting jobs!
Thanks for hanging with the pup, she had a blast!

You will always receive a Rover card for each visit or walk, along with pictures and a description of how much fun we are having! :) You will always be able to reach us at any time if you ever have any questions.
A typical day
When family is away, I truly think pets need to feel as safe, happy, and secure as they can. Whether this means taking walks, playing ball in the yard, or sitting on the couch and snuggling - anything is OK! Animals are really like people in that they each have different personalities, interests, and likes/dislikes.

Availability
In addition to drop in visits while you are away, consider us for dog walking as well! Often, new puppies and "teenage" dogs need an extra walk and potty break during the day while you may be at work. The opportunity to burn off some additional energy before you arrive home makes the evening smoother and less stressful for both you and your dog(s). We are very flexible and can accommodate most any schedule or time of day. Let's also give the kitties some love as well - most all cats love snuggles, companionship, and playtime too! Cats in general are more independent than dogs, but all the kitty lovers out there know that cats appreciate us more than they let on!
