Vacation Guilt Free! When I had my dog and was away from the house for even a couple of hours, I felt guilty leaving my pup home alone. I know how dog owners feel about their furry family members. As a teacher, I have a lot of time off. I have a condo with tile floors in all rooms. My neighborhood has lots of walking paths and lots of green areas. About this sitter: I'm a teacher in the PBC public school system and have been since 2001. I love all pets; Why I love dog sitting I speak dog fluently I have had and been around dogs my entire life. Everyone in my family is a dog lover. I've personally had Collies, lead hunting dogs, aka Brittany dogs (which my dad bred), Black Lab Retrievers, and many Shih Tzus. I have spent a lot of time around my extended family's dogs and have dog-sat several times (Boston Terriers, Poodles, Rottweilers, Schnauzers ---just to name a few off the top of my head).
