Pet care experience
I had my own dogs for about 25 years. My last dog Eddie a black labrador, who we had from 12 weeks old, lived until he was almost 15 years old ,alongside our cat who we lost just before her 16th birthday. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanise Eddie in January 2022.I miss him dearly but do not yet feel ready to replace him. I have his ashes in a ring , so he is with me always.I so miss having animals at home and have recently looked after a couple of dogs for friends and cat sat for a weekend which gave me a great deal of joy. I love all animals and have an adopted Chimpanzee at Monkey World in Dorset (Seamus) and I sponsor the polar bears in Norway. I will treat your pets as I would my own ,with much love and affection and I will chat to them often.Thank you for reading my profile.

Absolutely 10/10!! Peach had the most wonderful time and felt right at home. I felt so comfortable with my girl being with Julie and had lots of photo updates to keep my mind at ease! Would definitely use again. I think Peach would be upset if I didn't!
Always happy with Julie having Albert. He absolutely adores her. Kept fully updated about his stay and lovely pics when he is with her.
As always Albert was so happy to see Julie and I know he’s had the best day , Julie loves and cares for Albert so well and I know she loves him as much as we do so I never hesitate for Julie to look after him when we need it x Thanks always

I have a good size home and a large sized secure garden. Please be aware I have 9 steps leading up to my property. I am happy for dogs to have the run of the house. Dogs are welcome on the sofa and to sleep on the bed.I will welcome and care for all dogs as if they were my own and walk at least four times per day if they are up to that. I have lots of open areas close by that are quiet for more nervous dogs.

A typical day
I love the company of dogs and really enjoy walking. I live in an area where there are lots of lovely walks to explore .If your dog is nervous I am happy to keep to quieter areas. I love to provide strokes and cuddles , snuggled up on the sofa and I am happy to have dogs/cats on the bed with me. I will also talk often to your dog /cat and provide playtime of course .

Availability
I currently work in adult social care and am fully DBS checked, I have also worked as cabin crew and on behalf of the police supporting children who have been abused, so I have been vetted to a high level. I work now Monday to Wednesday and would love to fill the rest of my week with the pitter patter of paws. I will only accept one dog at a time, unless they already live together and then I will accept two.Please note because I work Mon,Tues &Wednesday I cannot currently accept dogs on those days ,sorry !!
