Pet care experience
I am currently a 2nd degree nursing student at Villanova University. I'm 30+ years old and have always loved animals, whether it be dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, or ferrets and have owned many of these animals throughout my life. Doggos have a special place in my heart and I know how stressful it can be to leave a furry family member behind for any amount of time. My last dog passed at the age of 13, was 100+ pounds, loved to play, and was pretty much the love of my life! I currently live with a rescued rat terrier mix, who's rather shy around people, and not so into playing but very interested in cuddling! For these reasons and others I understand the unique differences in animals that make each one special. I highly recommend having a walker come into your pet's home, as this is often where they are most comfortable and have needed to use these services myself. Julie is a huge animal lover and a fantastic person to entrust with your pets. She has been a responsible owner herself (I have witnessed how well-trained her own dog was, like he would go get a soda from the kitchen when asked kind of trained) and she has also lovingly helped me with my dog as well. I would trust her in a heartbeat to walk or sit my pets!
Julie is a kind person, who loves all animals. She is a hands-on dog owner and is very attentive to the needs of her dog, Whiskey. She often cooks Whiskey homemade meals and loves to play games with her. Julie is a true dog lover! Conversely, every dog I’ve ever seen around her also appears to be a Julie lover. You will be too, if you choose her to care for your furry family members.

I think it can be a good idea to meet you and your pet in person before sitting or walking in order to make sure we are a good fit for one another! If this is not an option, a history of what your animal enjoys to do, where they like to walk, whether they like to play or not, and whether they are okay with other people or animals around are all important details to know. Sorting these details out will help us have a good experience while you are away! :)
A typical day
I love to go for walks, and am willing to take your dog wherever they are familiar with going while you are away. I enjoy playing with dogs and cats equally, and have no problem throwing a ball, tugging a rope, or just cuddling with your pet while you are away! Whatever you need!
