Loving Home with Large Fenced Yard
Pet care experience
Our beloved family dog passed away at the end of last year at 16 and 1/2 years old. I cared for him at every stage of his life, and have babysat the dogs of friends and family members as well. Our schedule doesn't allow for us to get another dog, but I'd love to care for your dog and treat them as my own. I take dogs that are 25 lbs or less.
Reviews
Julie and her partner did a great job taking care of my dog. I appreciated her keen attention to my dog’s specific needs and keeping me frequently updated. They will be my first choice if I’m back in the area any time soon and need a pet sitter.
Julie was so sweet and accommodating with our dog Zeus! He was only gone for a day, but we got updates on how he was doing (with pictures) every few hours. This made us feel really safe, knowing that our dog was in good hands. Will definitely book again.
Julie and her husband were wonderful with my Nooni. They sent pics and updates. It was such a comforting feeling knowing my furry child was in a loving home while I was out of town. Many thanks!
I can’t say enough good things about Julie and her wonderful family! They were so kind and welcoming to Koa. She sent me updates and pictures everyday, and made him feel so loved. She was was extremely attentive to all his needs. If I’m ever out of town again I will definitely be reaching out to Julie!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. We live in a neighborhood without busy roads, so there are plenty of places for long walks. We don't have any pets or small children at home. We had a pet that liked to get into mischief, so all of our trash cans have tops that close automatically or are behind cabinet doors and we are very used to being careful with any items that a dog could get into. I cared for our dog in his old age, administering many medications, a special diet and fluids via an IV, so I am familiar with the special needs that pets may have.

Information Julie H. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if there are any special needs or behavioral issues that your dog has. I would also like to know what the dog's typical routine is - long walks, sleeping in bed or by themselves, meal times, treats, saying hello or avoiding other dogs on walks? I'm happy to stick to any routine and structure that your dog has at their home, so it's an easy transition to my home and back.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch, play with toys, snuggle, and watch them run around our large fenced in yard. I'm just as happy to have a dog that loves long walks as I am to have a dog that likes to just be around people and sleep all day.

Availability
I only take dog(s) from one client at a time, so your dog(s) will get all of my attention. My husband and I are both home most of the time, and we try and work our schedules so that dogs are never left alone at our home.
