Pet care experience
We have two very spoiled daschunds who love their daily walks and large yard to play in. We are outside all of the time (year round) and live in a gorgeous rural neighborhood. It is a doggy dream! We have a consistent daily schedule and our feel that is important for a dog to feel secure and safe. We live in a smoke free home that treats pets like people. Our dogs basically own the house and we pay the bills and taxes!

I would need to know if they are used to other dogs or have any medical concerns. Also, have they been around kids or have any particular fears such as thunder, etc.
A typical day
We usually walk 3-4 miles after dinner every night, sometimes in the neighborhood and sometimes on the Alleghany River Trail which is about a mile from our house. When we are home we spend time on the back patio and the dogs have the yard (and garden pond ) to enjoy. Our pets are a part of the family just like our children. They snuggle with us on the furniture and in bed too!
