There’s just nothing like getting to provide a pup with the love and care they need to thrive! Dogs offer us unconditional love and happiness, so being a pooch sitter allows me the very humbling opportunity to give a little bit back to them as well. Dogs just want to spend as much time as possible with us and are so happy to even see us walk through the door. That’s why it’s my job to make sure that every pup has a smile on their face and happiness in their heart! I have had dogs for most of my life, although my experience with pups doesn’t end there. I have been a pet sitter for many years with different breeds and sizes, and have loved getting to know their unique personalities and temperaments. Getting to be a sitter has been such a rewarding experience! In addition to being a sitter, I also volunteered for a time at a shelter. I really enjoyed getting to take care of dogs that needed a little help transitioning to their forever families, and watching them thrive under my care is a memory I won’t forget. Currently, I work in the medical industry and volunteer a few hours a week at Saddleback Hospital. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I treat my canine clients as if they were my own loved one! I make sure they have different types of fun activities and walks every day so they never get bored or anxious. There are tons of great walking opportunities nearby, but I also enjoy cuddle time on the couch and like having conversations with my pups too. Some are so vocal and hilarious! For owners, I provide detailed updates each day along with pictures showing all the fun we are having. I keep all of my lines of communication open in case any questions or concerns arise, and am always available by call or text.
