Pet care experience
I grew up caring for dogs (my mom raised Cocker Spaniels). I have had my own pets for more than 30 years and I have fostered dogs for adoption for more than 20 years. Every dog needs a chance, no matter how challenging their behavior. My most recent dog needed sub-cutaneous fluids to extend his comfort during his final months. I miss him so, but I am waiting for a bit to bring another dog into my life permanently.

Julie was fabulous with Shadow, our Lab. She was calming for Shadow and we were completely comfortable leaving her overnight at our home to care for our baby. Julie had so much knowledge about caring for our anxious little Lab. Shadow was completely comfortable with her after 24 hours and was playing ball with her and sleeping with her. Julie met us before her planned stay at our home to meet Shadow and get to know her. She sent pictures to us throughout the days and sent updates on their time together. We will definitely use Julie for all caretaking for Shadow when we travel.
Julie was so sweet and caring to not only Lily but me as well. She’s really great with communication, sending multiple updates throughout the day and answering very quickly. I know Lily was well taken care of. Thank you Julie :)
Julie was such a wonderful sitter for my two pups. She clearly loves dogs so much and I knew my guys were in good hands. She sent me lots of pictures and updates and was so patient and understanding when one of my dogs had some issues with settling in. I highly recommend her!
We feel so blessed to have found Julie! She took such good care of our girl…lots of playtime, walks, and attention. Julie is very responsive, and we will definitely book her again!

A typical day
I am an active person who enjoys walks and hikes. Fetch is a good game - I have played a lot of softball, so I have a pretty good arm. : ) But I can appreciate a quiet snuggle, too. I can adapt to the needs of your pet as you wish.

Availability
I currently work part-time from home, so I am around the house a great deal. Walking is a pleasure and playing is a joy, so it seems pup-sitting fits just great into my life.
