Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs for 15 years. I started a dog walking business in my parents neighborhood when I was 13 years old and later worked at a vet for a couple of years where I would feed, bathe, and walk dogs. I've always had dogs while growing up and lived with roommates with dogs. My husband and I got married a couple years ago and rescued our puppy Lola shortly afterwards. We rescued her when she was 8 weeks old so we are familiar with puppies and I personally trained Lola. I am also familiar with senior dogs and administering medications.

My senior dog gets finicky about eating when she’s in a new place but with the calm atmosphere at Julie’s house, my dog ate with no problems! Both pups came home calm and happy - and they made a new doggie friend with Julie’s dog, Lola. Thanks!
Julie came to our rescue as we needed a sitter due to a last minute cancellation before our trip overseas. Her pup Lola is so calm, and Remy was able to socialize with a couple of other friends that Julie was also watching. She made sure to send daily pictures and videos and we were reassured that he was in good hands during our time away. We would definitely book with Julie again?

I cannot thank Julie enough for the amazing care she provided for my dog Charlotte. She communicated throughout Char’s stay, and sent lots of photos and videos. I felt Charlotte was really loved on and I could tell she felt completely comfortable staying with Julie.

We have a fenced yard big enough for dogs to run around and play. We do not have any toxic plants in our yard. We have a sweet female dog named Lola who loves all dogs and will make your pup feel at home! She is very friendly, never shown any aggression (with the exception of June bugs), and loves to play and sleep. We do not have children or stairs - for elderly dogs. I take Lola on walks/runs daily- we love to exercise. If your dog likes going to the dog park, we can make that happen too!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, behaviors/tendencies (digging/scratching), or medications that I need to account for so we can make sure he/she is properly cared for. I do not know dog CPR, but can address a wound if needed.
A typical day
We live in the back of a very safe neighborhood. We love long walks and bike rides around the neighborhood and going to the dog park. If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, we would love to take them! Rest assured, your dog will get lots of cuddles and love in our home! We also have many toys for your dog to play with and a fun backyard for them to explore.

Availability
I work in sales and have a flexible work schedule allowing me to work from home. When I do leave the house, I'm never gone for more than 5 hours at a time and usually my husband will be home for part of the time I'm away. I'm available on weekdays and weekends.
