I’m a lifelong pet and dog lover with a 7 year-old female spayed lab, Ellie, of my own. I’ve cared for family, friends, and neighbor’s dogs for more than 25 years. My Ellie is very calm, friendly, highly socialised, and great with other dogs and children of all ages.

My dog Ellie loves playing with other dogs and has a portable ‘doggy pool’ when it’s hot and plenty of shade. If your dog enjoys the comfort of their crate or special bed, feel free to bring them along.Home also has central air to keep your fury ones cool.

I would want to learn ahead of time any special needs your dog may have to ensure a good fit for my home. I am trained and experienced with dog first aid, including CPR, and medication administration and injections.
A typical day
I live in a nice residential neighborhood with all owner-occupied homes and many dogs. I routinely walk the daycare children in a “wonder wagon” and my dog on a leash. I walk my dog in the evening, and I play catch with the dogs as well. I live near a park where I take leashed dogs to walk after work and on weekends.

Availability
I work from home and operate a licensed family daycare with success for more than 25 years. I have weekends off where I have plenty of time to take walks with my own dog and others. I am available for over night dog stays at that time also. My work area is separate, but I have a large fenced in yard with grass. My own dog plays with the children outside, but mostly stays upstairs when we are in. My Ellie often prefers the couch over her dog bed, and I’m fine with that. 😊
