Hello! And thank you for checking out my page. My name is Julie and I am 31 years old. Here is just a little bit about myself I grew up in upstate New York and am moving to Waconia on March 15th and can start as early as 3/21. My husband grew up in Eden Prairie and his job with Cargill is moving us back to Minnesota. I will surely miss living in NY but am very excited to start this new adventure in my life! In NY, I worked for the NYS Health Dept, full time, for the Bureau of Occupational Health and Injury Prevention. While working at NYSDOH, I attended SUNY Albany and received my Bachelor’s degree in English. I have a twin sister, an older brother, and an older sister. In my spare time I love to read, exercise, kayak, snowshoe, hike, cook, and play with our 2 dogs. I believe in a healthy lifestyle and love to be outdoors as much as possible. I’m also a proud mama of a yellow lab and a lab/hound mix. I have met many families off of other similar websites. I walk/watch a dog on occasion when his owner's go out or go on vacation. I have no problem with overnight care. I have stayed overnight several times for dog sitting. In the past I took care of an older dog on occasional Sunday's when her owner had to work long shifts. A few years back I took care of two dogs, one diabetic, and administered a shot once a day to him. I also have extensive experience with fish and cats. In the recent past I watched a cat for an elderly woman who was a resident at an assisted living home until she passed away. I made sure he was fed; litter box was changed, and checked in to see if everything was going smoothly. I am a very energetic, fun, and trustworthy person.
