I'm an animal enthusiast, and I'd like to say advocate. As a petsitter of 20+ years and mother of rescues for 15+ years, I offer high quality care and attention to one client at a time, so your pet gets my undivided attention- which is pretty extensive considering that I telework! Best of all? My earnings go toward providing local feral cats with high-end grain free filler-free food, shelter, and vet care. Special needs, meds, or schedules? No problem. Playtime and cuddles are my specialty. :) In your home or mine, pet guests are loved as family. In my home, pets can enjoy a lovely fenced in backyard, or camp inside with us where everything is steam cleaned between clients and double vacuumed while 2 air purifiers go to work! So it really will feel like their space. Note, the photos here are from our last place, but we’ll get new ones up soon. We have one indoor/outdoor rescue kitty. He spends the night with us, mostly on my lap, and then spends the day out and about with his friends outside. We owe them the world for all the good they do for us. Julie is just amazing! Took incredible care of our dog with plentiful and detailed text and video updates, we came back to a VERY content and tired out little dude ? Julie followed all our instructions perfectly and made sure to take time to get to know us and our needs before taking us on as clients. Also, we came back to a SPARKLING clean house ✨ we will absolutely use Julie again!
Julie was wonderful to work with during this in-home daycare session! We scheduled this as prep for an upcoming multi-day house-sitting, just to ensure our dog Bill, who has some separation anxiety, would do alright. Julie exceeded our expectations with her thoughtful approach, patience (with us and Bill!) and timely updates on our pup. We’re very much looking forward to having Julie house-sit for us soon!
Calling all anxious pet parents! Here is Aunt Julie who, really, is here not only to love and dote on your pup, but there to calm your nerves! (Julie sent me 12 videos of Henry — on the first day alone — to help ease my stress of leaving my pup behind.) Julie was intuitive, patient, and interactive with Henry and I could see through all the videos she took how much fun Henry had staying with her and her housemates. Definitely coming back!

I know (from experience) how stressful leaving your pet can be for you and them. Rest assured that with me, your pet will feel at ease in no time. I'll gently cultivate trust and a bond through learning and honoring your pet's signals. To help your pet feel comfortable, I like to heat up their blanket and cover them up at bedtime, dim the lights early, and play ASMR sleep-inducing sounds. I will follow your parenting style and share new things I learn about them with you. And I keep a watchful eye on signs of health conditions. I've been known to alert pet parents to signs of diabetes, arthritis, and allergies in ways that have in some cases saved their pet's lives and in others have improved their quality of life. About my services in your house: I do a bit of complementary cleaning while I care for your pet so that you can come home to a house in order. If you'd like "the works" (steam cleaned floors, windows, mirrors, upholstery, tubs, sinks, tiles, countertops, or other surfaces) just let me know and we can discuss details and rates. About our house, I run 2 air purifiers, vacuum and steam cleaning all floor 3x a week, and sterilize upholstery and surfaces between every pet guest.

Past trauma, scheduling needs, health issues, or behavioral issues that would be important to navigate. If you're a returning client, any changes in routine since last time. Vet's name, clinic name, and preferred urgent care clinic in case of emergencies. An in-town emergency contact who can come to help your pet in case of an unforeseen issue here or an emergency on my end.
A typical day
As many as 2 strolls and 6-8 bio breaks in between walks. We will play 30 minutes or so a day. And on extra nice days, they'll enjoy outside time as long as 3 hours. They'll be provided clean bowls daily for their fresh filtered water and food. During all of this, your pet will gain a new friend they love to visit when you're away, and who is happy to "buy their love" and trust with extra treats! As they begin to feel secure, I'll help them grow more confident (I have a knack for this). You'll receive daily videos and photos of your pet's activities (waking up, meal-times, bio breaks, walks, snuggles, funny stories, and just any old way to say hi while you're away) to reassure you that your baby is super happy, super loved, and super well taken care of. A few photos might even be frame worthy!
