Pet care experience
I'm an experienced dog sitter and walker with clients in New York City and Washington DC. I recently relocated from New York City to downtown Troy! I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment with my dog Maisie. I'm comfortable with most types of dogs but prefer to board a dog that is low-to-medium energy since Maisie is a senior girl. I work from home, so your dog won't be left alone for long periods and will get the love, attention, and exercise it needs to ensure a comfortable and fun stay.

Julie and her dog Maisey are a great fit for my dog with separation anxiety. Julie has been kind, generous and thoughtful with my needs for my dog, Morby. I am so excited to work with Julie in the future. Her dog, Maisey barked for a couple minutes when she first met Morby and I but once she settles and gets to know you/your dog she’s extremely chill and sweet. Her barking didn’t feel aggressive so it didn’t concern me or Morby and her presence is greatly appreciated. Thank you Julie for opening your doors and letting Morby hang with y’all.
Julie is very friendly and accommodating. The dogs met me and my dog with lots of barking and anxious energy. We decided it might work but after a few days problems arose. Not a future match for us but I’m sure will be great for others as Julie is very kind and I know my dog was taken care of and loved.
Julie was great. Radar was clearly happy and well taken care of!
Julie was a life-saver when I needed to find an experienced dog sitter last minute for a week! She was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and I felt confident leaving my senior dog (who has medications that need to be given daily) with her and her pups. She is a dog owner, and is especially sensitive to the needs of senior dogs like mine, who need a more relaxed and comforting environment. She kept me updated the week I was away, and sent me lots of photos of Luna happily lounging in her apartment. Luna seemed right at home with Julie, and I would book with her again!:). Thanks Julie!

A typical day
There are many dogs in this neighborhood so if your dog is social this could be a great spot! I'm located near shops (that have plenty of dog treats) and the river that is part of Uncle Sam's Trail. At home, I have dog puzzles to challenge your dog, and many beds for short and long naps.

I am home during the day and can provide frequent bathroom breaks, playtime and long walks. I take my dog out 4 times each day with one or two long walks by the river or park to get all the energy out!
