Reviews

Julie and her family went above and beyond to help me and my new rescued puppy ( Rusty ) I was in the hospital in Burgaw and Rusty couldn’t stay even though the staff loved him. He was taken by an officer from Pender Animal Control Center and they treated him great. Addison was even going to take him home. She works there. Long story short, there’s only a 3 day stay. After 3 days the animals go up for adoption. I was there on the 23rd and on the 26th that morning I called local friends, got on Rover.com and Care.com. Well, Julie pops up and her and her son (Jackson) went and got Rusty at 4:50 pm. They close at 5. They’re angels sent from heaven. I now have Rusty at home. I would have been devastated if he went to somebody else. That’s my boy! My buddy!

left my dog with them for two nights…. DONT send your animals to that house. My dog came back stinking, violently sick and literally bleeding in more than one spot. Their rights to use rover should be taken, absolutely pathetic.

My dog Lola spent the day with Julie while we were out exploring downtown Wilmington. Julie was really good at keeping me updated on how Lola was doing. Julie was very friendly and communicated very well throughout the whole process. When I’m back in Eilmington, I’ll make sure to book with Julie again!

She watched my husky for a family emergency. She was great!

A Typical Day With the Dogs Every day with the dogs is filled with fun, activity, and care. I start by ensuring everyone is comfortable, fed, and ready for the day. If your dog has a specific routine, I’ll stick to it to make them feel right at home. Our backyard is fully fenced and features an agility setup that all dogs are welcome to enjoy. Whether it’s practicing agility, playing fetch, or simply running around with my two energetic dogs, there’s plenty of activity to keep everyone happy and engaged. For those who love walks, I’m happy to take them out for some fresh air and exercise, following any leash or walking instructions you provide. Between play sessions, the dogs can relax in a cozy, safe indoor space where they get lots of love and attention. Throughout the day, there’s a good balance of exercise, social time, and rest, ensuring every dog feels cared for and content. I look forward to making your dog feel like part of the family! --- Let me know if you’d like to customize this further! Safety and Comfort for Your Dog Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I have a fully fenced-in backyard where your dog can play and explore securely. However, your dog will never be left outside unattended. Supervised outdoor time ensures their safety while allowing them to enjoy fresh air and exercise. Inside the house, I’ve set up a gate system to keep feeding times calm and stress-free. This ensures that each dog has their own space to eat without interruption or competition. I also take special care to separate pets as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Rest assured, your dog will be cared for with love and attention in a safe, structured, and pet-friendly environment.
