I think pets are as much of the family as my own children. I have had animals all my life. Animals in my opinion should always be around human contact. I adopted a dog about 5 years ago and she was an adult dog that was kept in a kennel all day and never had human contact (puppy mill) it has taken all these years to build trust with her and my family. She is the most gentle pet you have ever met. No animal should ever be treated like property. I have raised large siberian huskys down to my mini siberian husky. All an animal ever wants is to be part of a family and feel secure. I can provide that when you travel.
