Pet care experience
Hello, I am a registered nurse, that works 3 days/week...I have 5 kids, two of whom are at the University of Michigan, one is at Grand Valley, and two are at home with me. We have a medium sized dog...Sam who loves to walk with me....we would love to have company! We also have two cats, Andy and Bia. Our animals do get along really well with other animals and people. I live on the North side of Holland, near Lake Macatawa. I love all animals, and would love to walk with your dog and or cat too! I am lucky to work from home with a pretty flexible schedule. We walk about 5 miles / day. I feel like it took Sam no time to get into shape....he absolutely loves his walks everyday. I look forward to meeting you and your dog or cat. NOTE: I currently can only work with pets on the North side of Holland because I need to be close to home for work. Sorry for any inconvenience!

I know I have left a few reviews already but Julie and her family are just amazing! We’ve hired her as Sawyer’s official dog walker aka doggy nanny 😊 she takes care of Sawyer 5 times a week for us while we are at work and we always come home to a happy dog! ♥️🐶 thanks Julie!!

Julie is simply AMAZING! This was our first time using Rover. When we can’t take Sawyer on adventures with us we used to leave him at an outdoor boarding/doggie camp in California and he loved it. We just moved to Michigan a few months ago and haven’t quite found a new dog camp for Sawyer. So we decided to give Rover a try! I found Julie on here and we met up at the park for a meet and greet! Both Sawyer and I fell in love with Julie the moment we met her. She has a kind spirit and you can just tell how much she loves animals. So we booked Julie to walk Sawyer a few times a day and a check in visit while we were away. She sends text messages and pictures which is just the best! I could go on and on about how amazing she has been. So I highly recommend Julie for any and all of the services she provides. Thanks Julie for always taking such great care of our sweet boy Sawyer! ❤️

A typical day
We love to walk to the beach! We often go to the State Park and back, which is around 2.5 miles each way. If there's not time for such a long walk we'll go all over Waukazoo Woods where we live. I also have two daughters at home (15y and 18y) who love to play with the pets!
