I've had a houseful of dogs (7+ large and small and cats) for over 25 years and have always been naturally drawn to dogs and cats. In 1998, I started teaching volunteers to safely work with shelter dogs at the Oregon Humane Society and continued to teach up until my move to the desert in fall of 2022. I’m experienced working with extremely shy and behaviorally challenged dogs, as well as running shelter dog playgroups. I've got an extensive dog handling background, and am able to read their body language and approach each dog as an individual, knowing I need to earn their trust and put them at ease first. I love to run and walk with your pups if that is what you desire. Or, if you've got senior dogs (or house cats) that just need some TLC, a bathroom break, medicines and/or a meal--I would love to fulfill these needs, as well!
