I always had dogs growing up but didn't realize exactly how much work and how rewarding taking care of and training them was until I got my own puppy five years ago. I have dog sat for many friends and neighbours in Vancouver. I recently moved back to Ottawa and am looking to see if anyone in the area could use a hand 🙂

Julie and Cam were excellent sitters for our shy girl. This was our first time leaving her with anyone, and we had nothing to worry about when leaving her with them. They were very responsive, gave us lots of updates, and were great with our dog!
Julie was very welcoming to my two pugs this weekend. She sent lots of updates and pictures! Her pup is adorable and does very well with the pugs. I would recommend and also book with her again!

She has done wonderful work training her dog and has as well supported other owners in training their dogs and providing guidance to ensure the dogs are best taken care of. Please let me know how your dog is with other dogs, people, animals, how good their recall is, if they are food or praise driven, if they have any special needs, and generally what their everyday schedule is like. Consistency is important especially with training so I would like to keep them as close to their regular day to day life as possible.
A typical day
I love going on long walks through Conroy Pit and creating dog enrichment games inside on crummy days. Ideally your pup and mine will also love burning energy by playing together

I have just recently left my job and have lots of free time to spend with pups. My partner works from home so he is also available to help if I need it.
