Pet care experience
I have 4 years of experience working at a standard kennel and I currently work at Camp Bow Wow in NE Philadelphia. I have my bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Widener University and have taken behavioral neuroscience and animal behavior classes at UPenn. I hope to apply to the psychology PhD program at UPenn in the next few years with a focus on animal behavior. I love animals and I would be happy to help you increase the happiness and overall welfare of your pup by taking them for a walk or just stopping in to play for a little. I am comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes and can even accommodate other animals in the home at the same time if needed.
Reviews
Julie is the strongest animal advocate that I have had the pleasure of knowing. She goes above and beyond when discussing care for all animals, especially dogs and cats, as well as providing helpful advice to pet owner. Julie puts the needs of animals above all else in terms of ensuring they are well cared for and loved. She works extra hard to decrease the stressers that pets may feel in order for them to be comfortable at all times. I highly recommend Julie as a dog sitter for Rover.
Julie is hands down the biggest animal lover I know! Her passion for working with animals exceeds everything, and goes beyond providing superb care for them. Julie is truly committed to learning about animals and their behavior towards providing the best possible care. She goes above and beyond to meet an animal's needs, and is invested in enhancing and enriching the life of each and every animal she meets. I trust Julie over any other person in caring for my pets!
