Hello there! My name is Jewels. I live in Northeast Philadelphia with my husband Jack and our 3 dogs. I am willing to travel and have reliable transportation. A little about me: 17 years ago, my first dog, Lexi, a pittie that came from a bad situation, lit the fire in my heart for misunderstood and disregarded animals. This love for misunderstood animals led me to volunteer at ACCT Philly. I have 8 years experience volunteering in an open access shelter environment and everything that goes along with it. I walked dogs, did adoption meets, ran fundraising and adoption events, fostered, bathed and transported dogs. Today, I volunteer with Big East Akita Rescue and Women's Humane Society. My main experience with dogs, that makes me an excellent caretaker for your pet is my experience in fostering. I have fostered hospice cases that have lived out their final days in my home, senior dogs with severe medical issues including but not limited to mammary cancer and dogs with fear aggression and anxiety issues as well. I have experience ranging from separation anxiety to basic obedience. I have experience with a variety of breeds, medical and behavioral issues and your basic and extensive care taking needs; I believe this makes me a most reliable, experienced and compassionate caretaker of your pets.
