Pet care experience
I have had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. From dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles, sometimes our house felt like a zoo! As the eldest daughter, I often got stuck with a lot of the pet care, but I didn’t mind one bit. To do this as a “job” is like a dream come true! I have experience with all kinds of dogs of all ages. I grew up with a Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, German Shorthaired Pointer, and a black Lab… all with varying personalities. I have been lucky to be apart of raising puppies as well as watching my family dogs grow old. I am skilled in walking strong, hyper dogs who pull the leash.

Juli is an excellent caretaker when it comes to my 9 year old GSP. Not only did she follow my tedious instructions, but she went above and beyond by keeping close contact with me and making a connection with my Daisy. She keeps Daisy on her routine when sitting and keeps up with Daisy on her adventurous walks, as my dog is high energy and likes to enjoy the scenery. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

To start, I need to know about any health concerns, medications, or allergies. I'd like to know about any specific behavior that is expected from your pet, especially if it may surprise me. I would hate to think something is wrong when in reality "he does that all the time"! Do you have any specific house rules for your pet such as furniture restrictions? What can I do to make your pet feel more comfortable while we await your return?
A typical day
I love going to both dog parks and regular parks to throw a ball, have a picnic, or sniff around. For the extra energetic dogs, I enjoy a running companion (leashed, of course)! For the kitties, I like to "go fishing" with string toys. You can never go wrong with a laser pointer either! In any case, I am eager to offer my cuddling services to any pet who wants to snuggle :)

Availability
I am currently working full time M-F 8am-5pm with full weekend availability. I am super flexible during weekdays to come early in the morning to feed your pet before work.
