Pet care experience
I've raised 2 dogs over the last 10 years, a lab from 2 months old and a shepherd that I adopted at 2 years old. I was the primary training for each dog and have experience in training dogs of all ages. Over the past 10 years, I've walked, babysat, and trained many of my friends dogs of all breeds. I love caring for dogs of all ages and sizes and have cared for my own dog through 2 knee surgeries and a few allergies and colds over the years. I believe in reward based training and in socializing dogs regularly so they maintain their development. Dogs are happiest when they have routines and love and I try to give both to any dog I ever care for. I also love to take photos of dogs and do so for many of my friends as gifts. Photography is part of my career and so I am always happy to include photos for you of your dog.

Jules is a loving and trustworthy dog-sitter. We have a highly energetic and wily German Shepherd puppy whom we absolutely trust that Jules can lovingly wrangle. While we were away, she kept up with our pup's training, and we would love for her to watch over Roger again anytime!
Jules is a very loving dog person. She treats her pup like royalty and nursed her through two “ruff” surgeries. No doubt Jules will treat your pup with lots of love, affection, attention and activity — lots of activity, she is extremely active herself too.
Julianna is one of the kindest, most compassionate and responsible people I know. I'm sure others will say equally great things about her, so I'll just tell one story. She came to visit me in 2018 when I was living in Fargo, ND for work, and we hadn't hung out in a long time, so we were planning on using the weekend to catch up. I was involved with the Humane Society up there, and we found out that there was a puppy that had been abandoned outside of town and they needed a foster and transport right away. She insisted we drop everything and head out there to help right away, and we were able to rescue that puppy and start the process of nursing him back to health. She spent the whole weekend taking care of him. She is always there whenever you need anything, I'd trust her with my life and the life of my dog.

I currently live in an apartment building so most of the services I offer involve me going to dog owners' homes to walk, train, or care for their dog(s). My dog is extremely friendly with other dogs, so when we do move into a larger home (November), I would be happy to have additional dogs to care for. If you have a small dog, I can dogsit for them in my current living situation. In general, I try to work around the needs of each dog owner because I know how important the wellbeing and care of your sweet pups are!

A typical day
If I am walking the dogs from your home, we will go on a mile or so walk around your neighborhood. If we are walking from where I live because they are with me during the day, we will do a mile loop by the water and a park for each walk. I generally take a ball and some treats with me on each walk and play with the pups inside frequently.

Availability
I work full-time from home but my hours are flexible. I am primarily available during the weekdays and the occasional weekend. My schedule is very fluid so I work best with flexible schedules each week. I own my own marketing and photography company and plan my days around clients. For any dog care, I treat all pet owners as I would my clients.
