Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love all their different personalities. I have an Australian shepherd of my own who we have raised since she was 8 weeks old and is sweet as can be. We have plenty of experience dealing with stubborn, high energy breeds and are up for anyone wanting to leave their pup with a friend and fenced in backyard to make sure they come home to a tired dog.

Frodo absolutely loved staying with Julianna and her dog Mali. I appreciated that she required a meet and greet before the stay to ensure Frodo was a good fit and that he got along with her dog. She has a beautiful backyard that he got to run around and play in. Julianna was super communicative and flexible. We will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!
Julianna, her partner, and her dog Mali were all incredible to our pup! He’s only a few months old so we were unsure how he’d do with other dogs but Mali was so incredible to him. Played with him gently and was very observant of his behavior. Julianna introduced them slowly and I felt comfortable leaving him with them! Great communication & was sent videos of them playing as well.
Very welcoming for our dog and kept us updated during our trip. Julianna was great with Inca!
Julianna and her dog Mali are great! We recently got a puppy and he’s still tiny so we were a bit worried how he would do with a bigger older dog. Julianna took great precautions to introduce them to each other slowly and they got along great. Mali is a great dog and Julianna is a great sitter!

I am very attentive and value safety over everything. I will never leave our dogs alone without feeling 110% comfortable that they get along and even then it would only be for short periods of time. Feeding will be done in separate rooms and if they get dirty playing, I’m happy to bathe them. If I notice anyone getting overwhelmed or in need of a break I will happily give them the space they need.

I do have a dog of my own so I only accept one additional (friendly) dog at a time. Please let me know if your dog gets overwhelmed easily, their energy levels, and if they tend to be escape artists. Happy to work with them on door manners as well if needed!
A typical day
I love playing fetch or frisbee in the backyard with my dog and in the summer we often get out the little kiddy pool and fill it up. She loves it!! We like to hike and go on nature walks on the weekend or go for a picnic at Dix Park. I’d be happy to keep up with whatever activities your dog prefers (:

I work from home Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and take lots of breaks to exercise and play with my dog and would be happy to include yours in the mix!
