I'm a recent transplant to the Central Mass area. While living closer to Boston, I volunteered for 8 years at the Animal Rescue League of Boston. When I first started at the ARL, I worked with cats but most of my tenure was spent working with behaviorally needy dogs. During this time, I completed an 8-week course to train dogs life skills that would be more appealing to adopters. Eventually, I foster-failed one of these "problem children" and we had 6 love-filled years together. My Augie recently passed away and I'm not ready to get another dog quite yet, but I have so much love to share with your pets. I'd love to fill my house with hair once again and to meet your furry loved-ones! Dogs, cats, reptiles - all are welcome! I work from home full-time and would only take animals from one family at a time to ensure your pets get my full attention. Unfortunately, I don't have a yard, but I'm very active and would love to take your pet(s) on adventures and walks - depending on their ability. There are a few steps to get into my townhouse, but once inside, your pet could have one-floor living or explore the entire place. Perfect for old friends and young pups.
