My name is Juliann (Jules) for short. I graduated from Smithtown High School and Western Suffolk Wilson Technological Center for Small Animal Program in June 2020. During my experience at Suffolk Boces and Wilson Technological Center, my program included the following courses: Career Building Skills, Health and Safety of Animals, Client Communication, Medical Record Keeping, Animal Care, Basic Terminology, Individual Animal Care, Animal First Aid, Proper Usage of Equipment. On completion of my Small Animal Training and Instruction as prescribed by the New York State Education Department in the curriculum area of Small Animal Care Skills. I was also rewarded first place winner of the Jennifer Meehan Memorial Scholarship. Looking back to when I was a small child, my compassion was all love for animals, and wanted to learn how to take care of them. I had my first dog named Jenny who was a beautiful black lab/whippet who I loved with all my heart. I had fifteen fun-filled years together with Jenny filled with hugs and kisses, walking, playing all day long. My second dog is named Java who was rescued from ARF who came from Puerto Rico or Florida. He is a handsome tan color Ridgeback/part Pit with a personality you immediately fall in love with. He truly makes our family complete. I know when you think of someone taking care of your pet (family member) you need to know this person is educated, honest, loving, and fits the puzzle with your animal.
